Photographs are a distinctive way of decorating the tables at a wedding. Pictures give guests something to look at and act as conversation starters. Using photos of the bride and groom through the years can be fun, because many guests may not have recently seen or don't really know one half of the couple. The photos give them a brief glimpse into this person's life. Photo decorations can also be taken home by guests so they don't go to waste.
Picture Topiary
Place a traditional topiary on each table as a centerpiece. Get photos of the bride and groom throughout the years (from childhood to present), and glue them to craft sticks or clear plastic floral picks. Stick several of these into each of the topiaries. This is an inexpensive way of creating an interesting centerpiece.
Photo Vase
Purchase clear, square crystal vases that have slots for a photo on each side. Or make a photo-collage vase. Use photos of the bride and groom through the years, and glue them onto the vases. You can then give these away to guests at the end of the night. Fill the vases with beautiful flowers, marbles or other decor of your choosing.
Photo Coasters
Purchase photo coasters and place a picture of the couple inside each one. These also double as coasters that the guests can take home. They are simple to put together and add a special touch to the table settings.
Picture Place Mats
Have place mats made using a collage of photos of the bride and groom. You can have these screen printed or use laminating sheets to laminate a piece of card stock with the couple's photos on them.
Parents' Photos Cake Table
On the cake table, set up framed photos of the bride's and groom's parents' wedding photos. This is a sentimental look into the past as the couple embraces the future.
