Instructions For the George Foreman Fusion Grill GR70

The George Foreman Fusion GR70 Grill, also known as the "Party Time Grill," differs from the typical tabletop grill in that it has one round grilling surface rather than a top and a bottom that cook food from both sides. Designed to be used at the table, with each person grilling their own meal on skewers and basting with flavor-infused liquid, the GR70 is essentially an electric grill equivalent of a fondue pot. The GR70 has been discontinued, but can still be found at resale shops and online auction sites. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Prepare foods for grilling. Meats and vegetables should be cut into 1-inch pieces or strips and threaded onto the included skewers.

    2

Place the grill pan onto the base with the base's grill plug socket lined up with the pan's opening, and snap it into place. Place the cup into the opening in the center of the grill. Fill the cup with marinade, sauce or flavored water.

    3

Plug the temperature control probe into the base, then into the wall socket.

    4

Preheat the grill to the desired temperature. For tabletop pan-broiling, turn the dial to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. For dry-grilling, set to the maximum 440 degrees F. The light on the dial will go out when the grill reaches the temperature.

    5

Grill the skewered food on the heated surface, turning frequently until meats and/or vegetable are browned. Baste the food with liquid from the cup, if desired. If the food starts getting too brown before it's cooked through, decrease the heat by about 50 degrees.

    6

Unplug and remove the grill pan and cup after use and wash them in warm, soapy water.
