Table Centerpiece Ideas With a Western Theme

Table Centerpiece Ideas With a Western Theme

Western-themed centerpieces dress up the tables at an event and will have guests feeling like they are riding into an open range. Whether they are for a birthday party or organized event, create western centerpieces your guests will be talking about for weeks to come. All you need are a few ideas, some supplies and a creative imagination. Does this Spark an idea?

Cowboy Hats

For a basic centerpiece, tie a bandanna around a cowboy hat and place it in the middle of the table for decoration. Dress up the cowboy hat by placing a small lasso or fake miniature hay bale beside it. Alternatively, flip the hat over and fill it with western-themed items. For example, drape bandannas over the sides of the cowboy hat or fill the hat with party favors like sheriff badges, western stickers, and small western figurines. Another idea is to roll up Wanted posters, tie them with twine, and fill the cowboy hats with them.

Hay Bales

Fake miniature hay bales are available at most craft stores. Simply stack a few hay bales on a bandanna and tie rustic ribbon around each one for a basic centerpiece. Another idea is to decorate around the hay bales with small miniature horses and small ropes to resemble lassos. Other items to add to the centerpiece include miniature cactus plants, plastic toy horses, and small horseshoes. You can also fill galvanized pails with small hay bales and tie bandannas around the pails for more decoration.

Cowboy Boots

Use glass cowboy boots for a basic centerpiece or fill the boots with a floral arrangement for added color. Use artificial or real flowers. For large tables, use a pair of real cowboy boots for each centerpiece. Tie large, western-themed ribbon around the boots and tie a bow in the front. Drape a bandanna on the side of one of the boots or tie the bandanna around the boots. Cowboy boot candles also work great as western centerpieces.

Food

Create centerpieces your guests can eat like western-themed cupcakes. Place a platter in the middle of the table filled with cupcakes featuring sheriff badges, small horses, or fondant cowboy hats or boots. Create a vegetable centerpiece by filling mason jars with celery or carrot sticks and tying bandannas on the jars. Decorate sugar cookies in the shape of cowboy hats and boots with frosting. Place each cookie in a separate plastic bag. Place the cookies in galvanized buckets in the center of the table.
