Simple Ideas for a Christmas Table Centerpiece

Simple Ideas for a Christmas Table Centerpiece

You don't have to go to a lot of trouble to spruce up a dining room table for Christmas dinner. All it takes is a few minutes to put together a pretty centerpiece that will look beautiful on your table and set the mood for a wonderful holiday meal. Does this Spark an idea?

Silver Bowl

Turn a plain silver bowl into a conversation piece. Purchase some silver beads at a craft store and fill the bowl with the strands. Insert a sparkly silver taper candle in the center of the beads, and surround the candle with a few silver ball ornaments. It's a sparkly, elegant centerpiece for the table.

Trees

Bring the spirit of the season to the table with miniature Christmas trees. Purchase several tiny Christmas trees (how many you need will depend on how long your table is.) Place the trees along the center of the table or group them together in the middle. Decorate the trees with tiny ornaments. One can have green, one can have red and one tree can have silver balls, or you can tie your table together with trees all decorated alike.

Christmas Flowers

Arrange some flowers to make a pretty statement during the holidays. Choose red roses or red and white carnations and arrange them in a vase. Stick large candy canes mixed in with the flowers, and tie a large red ribbon or some raffia around the vase. Alternately you can put your flowers in a Christmas cookie jar instead of using a traditional vase to add some holiday fun.

Candle Wreaths

Purchase miniature candle wreaths from a craft or hobby store. These are perfect for Christmas decorating. Buy colored pillar candles to sit inside the miniature wreaths, and place tiny presents, nuts or ornaments around the candle or wreath.
