Acquia Marina is a theme for the Fusion, a framework for the Drupal content management system which allows you to create dynamic layouts and style blocks using the Fusion administration tools. The "right side" area of the theme's page layout is called a sidebar. On the theme settings page in your Drupal administration area, you are able to configure the layout and appearance by customizing the position and widths of sidebars and choosing a "fixed" or "fluid" width. With a fluid width, your sidebar's width will change in proportion to the window size. By using a fixed width, you are able to specify a width for your sidebar that will not change.
Instructions
- 1
Access your Drupal administration page and click on "Build > Themes." Click the "configure" link next to the Acquia Marina theme.
2Go to "Fusion theme settings" and click on "General settings." Expand "Layout" to view the sidebar settings. Click on "Select a different width" and choose your desired width from the drop-down menu.
3Make note of how the options are labeled. Each option is listed in "units," which maintain a compatible ratio and visual consistency between the sidebar and content areas. Units are each 60 pixels wide, so if you wanted a sidebar that is 300 pixels wide, you would choose "5 units." Click "Save Configuration" and then reload your home page. Verify the sidebar width has changed to your satisfaction.
